Okay, I was told to this weeks ago but I've only completed it today. Hahahhahaahaa. Sorry lah! I got things to do okay! Not really lah. Lol. Yes, I very lazy -.-

Anyway, this is the only thing I can come up with. It's suppose to be on the right side of the shirt, do just invert it. I'm too lazy to invert it so yeah.

I know it's abit girly but I was only told to have a vine-like design and a 'not too girly' design. I wasn't really sure of what the guys actually want so I could only come up with this.

Oh and thanks to Siti and Jolene for some ideas ^.^

Anw, if you guys wanna edit some stuff on the design, go ahead.

Okay so phyllis and some others (sry I cant rmb who) asked Jolene and me to do sm class tee designs drg the holidays and we've done it alrdy, so I'm here to let you guys have a sneak preview of our pieces.

Both, above, are Jolene's designs.

The one on the left is a puppet/ragdoll.

The one on top is for the front of the shirt, the one below, for the back.

The one at the centre is just basically, "4F".

For the front or back, I don't know.

A hearty congratulations to the Debate team (compromising of WeiTing, Benjamin, Bryan, Amirah, and more) from class 3E, for emerging victorious at the Year 3 Inter-Class Debate Competition. Of course, we could not have done it without Mr Wong, for the reassurance and pointers that have been given to us over and over again. There shall be a designated area called 'Awards' soon, dedicated to the awards won by the class. Lastly, a little shoutout to WeiTing for being the 'Best Speaker' of the debate. Well done!

A little girl was talking to her teacher about whales. The teacher said it was physically impossible for a whale to swallow a human because even though it was a very large mammal its throat was very small. Errr... where's Bio homework?

Just in case you want to get away by giving the excuse of 'Ms Kong, I couldn't find the Biology homework on Litespeed!', you might want to read on. *evil laughters*

Our Biology homework tried to be funny and ran away to a particular place called a 'Workbin', where it holds sacred information about Nutrients and their function. Your job - to complete the crossword puzzle and a worksheet with the aid of Ms Kong's presentation slides. Here's the secret map on how to find your buried treasure at the Workbin!

Go on to http://www.elearn.litespeed.com.sg/, type in your username and password, under the drop down menu called 'Resources', you should see the oh-so-holy word 'Workbin'. Click on it, and select 'Sec 3 Express Biology' on the next page. Click on 'Sec 3 Express Biology' again, then choose which homework you decide to get done with first. There's a 'Upload Completed Assignment (3E)', which I think I would print the homework out and do, because it's an extra job to edit the crossword puzzle since it's in an image form. Remember to complete your Chemistry homework too. Be kind to share this piece of valuable information to 3G too!!!!

Speaking of which, we still have our Maths extra lessons on Monday and Wednesday. Literature students have to go for some Literature festival thingy. Geography students have to attend an 'Amazing Race' at Sungei Boloh on Tuesday (clad in your class tee!). If I'm not wrong, there is Social Studies project and homework for our respective humanities subject too. Complete those English homework too! Have a fruitful and stressful March one-week-only holidays!

3 days only!!!

Living up to my reputation of an avid poster of the blog, here I am, refraining my eyes from closing and typing a personal recount of the entire Batam trip. *boohoohoo* This special post is specially wrapped and dedicated to Lawrence, Vivian, Jasmine, Cindy and the many kaypoh readers of any part of the world. Bear in mind, this post contains how I feel, and what I thought, you can choose not to agree with me, but keep your criticisms to yourself, tyvm.

Day 1
Started off with a horrible note at school. People were ignoring Ms Chui's instructions, loitering and 2 of 3E people went missing, delaying the class time. *coughyouknowwhoyouare* Finally, we left for the Ferry Terminal (I-forgot-which), and with much (and I mean A LOT) delay, we departed for Batam at around 11 am (geez, I can't remember time well). Imagine the torturous 2 hours we spent waiting for the Ferry to arrive! The ferry ride was just horrendous - simply terrible. As it was raining, the waves were choppy, then almost all of us went sea-sick, especially "someone" (you're protected, don't worry!). Reaching Batam, we cleared the custom and left for the hotel. Purajaya Beach Resort was deemed as an unknown sacred location and therefore, being hypocrites, didn't expect much from it. But WOW, we were greeted with a Malay dance and orange juice. The hotel's setting was just right. Already one lesson learnt, dare to take risks and look at the positive side. We had lunch (with *someone* choosing the finest selection for her mouth to chew), then left for the Orphanage without getting our keys. Alas, we went to the orphanage and I don't know why we were instructed to go to another school (someone enlighten me please). The school kids were extremely lovable. And oh, before I forget, Batamese children are extremely FRIENDLY. We were instructed to paint 8 wall murals (if I'm not wrong), breaking world record. Take note that the room has no fans nor any lights. Broke down into groups and started doing what we should do. The teachings and singing went pretty well and chemistry reacted between the children and 3E. For the painters, they started white washing the room, having limited time on our hands, they started drawing once the paint has dried. After we did what we think is enough for a day, we wrapped up the day with games with the children in the parade square. One word to describe it - FUN. Chicken dances, ^10s, (the-side-side-front-back thingy that I forgot the name) and many more. Credited to Siti, Syuhaida and the rest who planned for it! One thing I have to mention, THE KIDS ARE CRAZY OVER SWEET STUFF. Hold a packet of sweets/chocolate on your hands and they would flood to you (imagine 40 and above), and they don't even care about their friends around them. They just want the sweets. Also, Ms Kong (a.k.a Ah Ying for the camp) was framed by Sharon with a box of chocolate. Sharon ran to Ms Kong and gave her the chocolate, then ran away. She was then surrounded! Feeling HIGH, we went back to the hotel with lots of cheers. *yeah* Keys were given out to us and we got ready for dinner in the hotel. The rooms were okay and if you think they have white walls like the photos, DEEEEEH, you're wrong. I believe it's as grand as Harris'. ;) We had BUFFET DINNER (they're good) and we went for debriefing. Debriefing was fun-er (pun intended) that I thought, while people over at Harris' were being scolded. We got around in a circle and shared one thing that we learnt. People like Jared, LiBin, Syuhaida and Siti were praised and overall, the coaches are pleased with 3E's outstanding performance for the day. I went to be extra singing with Benjamin, WeiTing, Michael and Kathryna next if you have to know. LOL. The day was simply marvellous. Lastly, sleep LORH.

Day 2
Had a hearty sleep. Woke up and had breakfast buffet. Left for the school. As Day 2 is a Batam public holiday, no students were at school, therefore the singing and teaching groups were recruited to the Painting Group. Everyone worked together in unison, and many of us showed their artistic talent (WEITING, HEREHERE!), and well, not-so-artistic people just continued with colouring easier stuff (count me in). The school was rather quiet and peaceful then, the only noise was generated from the small Primary 1 room (where we were in). Mdm Malar gave lots of instruction that day, and supervised our work. Took breaks in between and had packet lunch. The school's staff are really, really helpful and nice. They helped us in moving furnitures and gave us tables to have lunch. THANK YOU. After we finish painting (it was done in a russssh), we washed the floor of the room because there were lots of soil and paint marks on the ground. People were outside were behaving like maids wiping the paint marks off tables and chairs under the hot sun and kidding about Sean being a nanny and mother. -.- The room was simply magnificent. The principal and cikgus were impressed and remarked 'bagoos!' at what we have done. It was simply touching. After this, we decided to skip the trip to the slum since we were feeling fatigue and returned straight to the hotel. Had dinner by the poolside, having dates with flying ants and mosquitoes. A surprise mini-birthday party was celebrated for the March babies with special preparation by the hotel (it was last-minute instruction). Had our last round of MASS debriefing having people to share their thoughts from different classes, the objectives and what we have learnt. Was pretty hilarious. Played cards then went back to the hotel. Given incentives to stay up to 1 am since the coaches know we were going to party at the last night. ;)

DAY 3
The day started pretty slow. Had buffet breakfast as usual, then departed for the different orphanages/schools the other classes have been painting. 3F came up with a pretty simple yet smart design that educates the children about alphabets. 3G painted the walls of the orphanage with much constraints (we all love the reflexology stairs, don't we?). Their design was fabulous, using simple lines and colours but bringing out the message of 'caring of our neighbours'. Here's a little cheer for all your hard work! :D After this, we went shopping at Mega Mall for 1 hour (some claims it's too short). For me, I went around with Jacquelyn, Billy and Norio, shopped, and ate A&W that holds lots of wonderful memories with my family when it was at SG. :( Later, we were shooed back to the bus by I-think-a-secuity-guard-of-our-school. Btw, I think I would love to share a pretty catchy verse about a donut called 'Oreology' in a donut shop.

Biology = Lousy

Geology = Boring

Oreology = Yummy!

Seems like the owner of the shop studies Bio and Geog too. LOL. We left to Golden Prawn restaurant and met up with the N(A) and N(T) who were screaming their heads off with 'YUM SENG!'. I have no idea why but lots of people went emo for some reason. Hmmmm... The food was delicious, but people at my table was too lazy to eat the crabs and peel the skin of the prawns. Went for a souvenir shop then went back to the Ferry terminal for our ferry back to Singapore. Had 'fake' Swensen ice-cream after checking in. It was funny when some of the girls' boarding pass showed a 'male'. :p Entered the ferry, sat beside Kat, Jac and Billy. Sang songs and made worried Jacquelyn more worry when she lost her passport. She found her passport when were reaching the terminal. Cleared the immigration within 2 minutes (we ran, being typical Singaporeans), and left for homeeeeeee~

So we had our hands acheing after the copying the comprehension passages for 6 times, I didn't even realise I that I took 7 hours to finish it. Everyone needs a break, right? Currently, the tagboard is taking its rest and isn't working. Here's the deal: If the tagboard does not work within 3 days, we'll change to cBox, so there won't be anymore bickering. ;)

Also, please do co-operate with the Welfare Committee (I swear they are, really, really, nice people if you do so), by assisting them in choosing your favourite colour and design. It's certainly really tough work to get everyone involved, especially when everyone is too keen to return home. Do try your best to pay for the class tee-shirt, you wouldn't want to be the odd one out not wearing one, would you? I heard they're rushing before the ACE Camp, so you co-operating is much appreciated. :D

Once there lived an old lady. She lived in an lovely house nearby a primary school. Her backyard was a pile of unkempt thick forage. There was a large hole in her old fence. After school, the students would secretly sneak into her garden to play. The old lady enjoyed watching them play at her garden. However, she did not want to scare them away. So she always hid in her house and watched them.

One morning, she had a bad fall and was admitted to the hospital. That afternoon, the children came to play at her house again. Her neighbour saw them trespassing her house and reported their doings to their school. The school called up the police. The police called up their parents.

The children received a series of scoldings by their school, police and parents. The were warned sternly never to enter the garden again.

The old lady recovered from her fall and was discharged. For several afternoons, she waited eagerly at the window to see the children come to play at her garden. But no one came. She was sad. The children were sad.

Although I know it's the festive season and everyone is avoiding to say the following phrase: 'Rest In Peace', you might want to break the tradition at this instant. 3E, being a really really nice class (I hope you feel so), I find it hard to leave the blog hanging without this post.

How many of you actually visited the Singapore Zoo, where they caged the innocent creatures? If you had, have you visited our Ms. Ah Meng, Singapore Zoo's poster girl, who swings from tree to tree and have breakfast with you while a photographer snap your picture? Believe it or not, this award winning Orang-Utan - is dead. It is said that she died of old age. Leaving out the death of Heath Andrew Ledger, RIP, Ah Meng.

Being a rat isnt that fun after all. it turns out Mr Tan's suggestion didnt quite work for us cos I dont think anyone knew what we were doing. But you better thank us cos we sacrificed our 'faces' to go in front of the school with rolled pink paper sticking out of our shorts and cardboard on our hair. AND, talking into a microphone that wasnt switched on.
we must thank boo ken and wai han too. wai han had to wear her grandma's clothes you know.

Don't worry, we're not mean girls who put your names into the whatever-they-call-that-book. This new section, the Hall of Fame, on our class blog is to recognise peeps who put in effort studying and top the class. Sooooo if you want your name to be there, you might as well work hard for the upcoming tests. P.S. It doesn't work vice-versa. ;) Also, to keep the area small, the top students of 3E from previous tests would be removed, and in come the new blood! Oooh, it reminds me of "out with the old, in with the new~ Goodbye clouds of grey, hello skies of blue~"!

the blog seems kinda dead so i'm here to post again. well, we survived the 4 tests(okay. one is for the geography and literature student) this week so we are only down to the last test which is Amaths test on monday! well, mug hard and all the best! and for failures(like me, -.-) hope you guys are able to pass through this one. Hello all, after much tinkering with the computer, I manage to find myself here. So, instead of completing my CAP essays or A maths, I'm posting.

It's the night- I'm overflowing with homework and tests (like every one else :( ) but right now I'm too influenced by cafine-in-tea to really care, that's why I'm so crazy. Well, sorta.

Chem today was very fun right? Like OH+ and pole dancing. OMG I wish Luke got it wrong, then we'd be able to see him embarrassed. OKok, not that mean, Luke was lucky okay. Mr Tan is a nice guy.

40 things to do in an exam

[40 things to do in an exam]

1) Bring a pillow. Fall asleep (or pretend to) until the last 15 minutes. Wake up, say "oh geez, better get cracking" and do some gibberish work. Turn it in a few minutes early.

2) Get a copy of the exam, tumble out the door and roll down the corridor screaming 'Hugo! Hugo! I have the documents!'

3) If it is a math/science exam, answer in essay form. If it is long answer/essay form, answer with numbers and symbols. Be creative. Use the integral symbol.

4) Make paper airplanes out of the exam. Aim them at the instructor's left nostril.

5) Talk the entire way through the exam. Read questions aloud, debate your answers with yourself out loud. If asked to stop, yell out, "I'm SOOO sure you can hear me thinking." Then start talking about what a jerk the instructor is.

6) Bring cheerleaders.

7) Walk in, get the exam, sit down. About five minutes into it, loudly say to the instructor, "I don't understand ANY of this. I've been to every lecture all semester long! What's the deal? And who the hell are you? Where's the regular guy?"

8) Bring a Game Boy (or Game Gear, etc...). Play with the volume at max level. Yell 'Die!' vehemently every so often, when the urge takes you.

9) On the answer sheet (book, whatever) find a new, interesting way to refuse to answer every question. For example: I refuse to answer this question on the grounds that it conflicts with my religious beliefs. Be creative.

10) Bring pets.

11) Run into the exam room looking about frantically. Breathe a sigh of relief. Go to the instructor, say "They've found me, I have to leave the country" and dive out through the window, open or not.

12) Fifteen minutes into the exam, stand up, rip up all the papers into very small pieces, throw them into the air and yell out "Merry Christmas." If you're really daring, ask for another copy of the exam. Say you lost the first one. Repeat this process every fifteen minutes.

13) Do the exam with crayons, paint, or fluorescent markers.

14) Come into the exam wearing slippers, a bathrobe, a towel on your head, and nothing else.

15) Come down with a BAD case of Turet's Syndrome during the exam. Be as vulgar as possible.

16) Do the entire exam in another language. If you don't know one, make one up! For math/science exams, try using Roman numerals.

17) Bring things to throw at the instructor when s/he's not looking. Blame it on the person nearest to you.

18) As soon as the instructor hands you the exam, eat it.

19) Walk into the exam with an entourage. Claim you are going to be taping your next video during the exam. Try to get the instructor to let them stay, be persuasive. Tell the instructor to expect a percentage of the profits if they are allowed to stay.

20) Every five minutes, stand up, collect all your things, move to another seat, continue with the exam.

21) Turn in the exam approximately 30 minutes into it. As you walk out, start commenting on how easy it was.

22) Do the entire exam as if it was multiple choice and true/false. If it is a multiple choice exam, spell out interesting things (DCCAB. BABE. etc..).

23) Bring a black marker. Return the exam with all questions and answers completely blacked out.

24) Get the exam. Twenty minutes into it, throw your papers down violently, scream out "Wallywoo!" and walk out triumphantly.

25) Arrange a protest before the exam starts (i.e. Threaten the instructor that whether or not everyone's done, they are all leaving after one hour to go drink)

26) Show up completely drunk.

27) Every now and then, clap twice rapidly. If the instructor asks why, tell him/her in a very derogatory tone, "the light bulb that goes on above my head when I get an idea is hooked up to a clapper. DUH!"

28) Comment on how sexy the instructor is looking that day.

29) Come to the exam wearing a black cloak. After about 30 minutes, put on a white mask and start yelling "I'm here, the phantom of the opera" until they drag you away.

30) Go to an exam for a class you have no clue about, where you know the class is very small, and the instructor would recognize you if you belonged Claim that you have been to every lecture. Fight for your right to take the exam.

31) If the exam is math/science related, make up the longest proofs you could possibly think of. Get pi and imaginary numbers into most equations. If it is a written exam, relate everything to your own life story.

32) Come in wearing a full knight's outfit, complete with sword and shield.

33) When you walk in, complain about the heat. Strip.

34) After you get the exam, call the instructor over, point to any question, ask for the answer. Try to work it out of him/her.

35) Bring balloons, blow them up, start throwing them around like they do before concerts start.

36) Try to get people in the room to do the wave.

37) Play frisbee with a friend at the other side of the room.

38) Bring some large, cumbersome, ugly idol. Put it right next to you. Pray to it often and chant loudly, using the words 'oh unholy one', 'end' and '1000 gigillion years of darkness' alot. Consider a small sacrifice.

39) Get deliveries of candy, flowers, balloons, telegrams, etc... sent to you every few minutes throughout the exam.

40). Bring a musical instrument with you, play various tunes. If you are asked to stop, say "it helps me think" Bring a copy of the Student Handbook with you, challenging the instructor to find the section on musical instruments during finals. Don't forget to use the phrase "Told you so".
